Biografia

Cristina Vaquero Piñeiro è Ricercatrice tenure-track di Politica Economica presso l’Università Mercatorum.Ha conseguito il dottorato in Economia all’Università degli Studi Roma Tre e ha svolto un periodo di ricerca come Visiting PhD alla London School of Economics.In precedenza è stata Ricercatrice (RTD-a) presso l’Università Roma Tre.La sua ricerca si concentra su politiche agricole, economia agroalimentare e Indicazioni Geografiche.Dal 2021 è docente titolare di corsi triennali e magistrali in ambito agroalimentare e sostenibilità.Vanta una solida produzione scientifica con pubblicazioni su riviste internazionali peer-reviewed.Svolge attività di revisione scientifica ed è attiva nella comunità accademica nazionale e internazionale.Dal 2022 è membro del Direttivo dell’AIEAA.Ha ottenuto l’abilitazione a professore di seconda fascia in più settori economici.Collabora come consulente con istituzioni nazionali ed europee e dal 2025 è consulente tecnico del MASAF.
