Call for Papers: XXIII ISLSSL World Congress in Rome

We are excited to announce that the call for papers is now open for the upcoming XXIII World Congress of the International Society for Labour and Social Security Law (ISLSSL). The congress, themed "Work In A Changing World: the Quest For Labour Rights and Social Justice," will be held from 17th to 20th September 2024 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.

In the wake of significant global transformations since the last ISLSSL World Congress in 2018, including the impacts of Covid, conflicts, and political upheavals, the landscape of work and labor rights has evolved dramatically. Digitalization and globalization continue to shape regulations and pose challenges to social justice worldwide.

The ISLSSL World Congress aims to delve into these pressing issues, fostering discussions on emerging trends, sharing research findings, and exchanging practical experiences. It provides a platform to establish and strengthen research networks and disseminate information about ongoing research initiatives, publications, and journals in the field.

Plenary sessions at the congress will be conducted in English, French, and Spanish with simultaneous translation available. Parallel sessions will primarily be conducted in English, with Spanish offered in comparative law panels (with slides presented in English), and no translation provided.

We invite scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from around the globe to submit their papers and contribute to the enriching discourse on labor rights and social justice in today's evolving world of work.

For more information and submission guidelines, please visit the official ISLSSL World Congress website.
